Job Summary
Athletic Trainer supplemental position at Fort Mill High Schools providing day-to-day medical coverage in the high school outreach setting. Responsibilities include on-field acute medical care, clinical evaluation and treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning, return-to-play determinations, head injury management, and collaboration with the Sports Medicine Team under physician supervision. Requires CAATE-accredited master’s degree, BOC certification, SC licensure eligibility, and BLS/CPR/AED within 30 days; position involves event coverage, equipment setup, documentation, and program planning with emphasis on athlete safety and outreach performance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in athletic training from CAATE program
- BOC certification as Athletic Trainer
- Current South Carolina license or eligibility for licensure as Athletic Trainer within 30 days of hire
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS), CPR and AED training within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work independently
