Athletic Trainer – Sports Medicine & School-Based Athletic Training

Job Summary
Provide athletic training coverage and support for sport team or school assignments as directed by the Clinical Supervisor for Rehab Services or Sports Medicine. Deliver injury prevention strategies, conduct immediate assessment, evaluation, and treatment of injuries, and manage appropriate triage of injuries. Maintain Oregon Athletic Trainer License, National Provider BLS certification, and BOC certification upon hire, along with a Department of Human Services criminal background check. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field and two years of experience in a school or college environment. Full-time day schedule at Health Plaza in Portland.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Health related field or equivalent educ/experience
- Oregon Athletic Trainer License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- BOC (Board of Certification of athletic trainer's membership)
- In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check

- 2 years' Experience working in school/college environment as an athletic trainer
