Job Summary
Provide Athletic Trainer coverage for high school athletic programs, including practices, games, and tournaments. Prevent, evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate injuries and medical conditions of student-athletes while collaborating with physicians, coaches, school staff, and parents to ensure their health and safety. Maintain accurate medical documentation and develop injury prevention programs with strength and conditioning guidance. Deliver emergency care, establish medical referrals, and support school wellness initiatives and community events. Requires NATA board certification, state licensure, and BCLS certification. Full-time day rotation with no call obligation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic training from an accredited program
- NATA board certification (BOC)
- Registered by Board of Medical Practice per state guidelines
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- State licensure application submitted prior to start date
- State licensure active within 90 days of hire
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Health screening and immunization review
- Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
- Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
