Athletic Trainer School Based

Provide medical coverage on-field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events, assessing and administering first aid while making appropriate physician referrals. Collaborate with PTs and physicians to carry out rehabilitation programs, ensuring proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation. Oversee the Athletic Training room to maintain supplies, safety, and a professional environment, while maintaining accurate records of all evaluations and treatments. Communicate effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and medical team members to develop strong stakeholder relationships. Deliver education on injury prevention, health literacy, nutrition, and mental wellbeing through in-services and conferences. Manage variable schedules with potential late nights to meet partner needs.
