Athletic Trainer School Based

Provide medical coverage on-field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events, including administering first aid and making physician referrals. Carry out rehabilitation programs after evaluation and treatment plan establishment, collaborating closely with PT and physicians. Oversee the Athletic Training room to ensure supply levels, maximal coverage, and a clean, safe environment. Maintain accurate records of evaluations, referrals, and treatments while communicating effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and medical team members. Ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation and organize in-services, lectures, and seasonal physicals. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders including the Athletic Director, coaching staff, and boosters.
