Job Summary
Provide medical coverage on-field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events, including first aid administration and appropriate physician referrals. Collaborate with PTs and physicians to carry out rehabilitation programs, ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met, and maintain accurate records of evaluations and treatments. Oversee the Athletic Training room to ensure supplies are maintained and the environment remains clean, safe, and professional. Communicate effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and the broader sports medicine team while developing relationships with key stakeholders. Deliver education and training on injury prevention, health literacy, and mental wellness. Manage variable working hours and unpredictable schedules to match partner needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current Athletic Training Licensure for the states in which you work.
- Credentialed as an Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' experience working in school/community setting as an Athletic Trainer
