Athletic Trainer School Based

Provide medical coverage on field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events, including assessing first aid and administering treatments while collaborating with physicians and physical therapists. Carry out rehabilitation programs, maintain accurate records of evaluations and treatments, and oversee the operation of the Athletic Training room to ensure supplies and a safe environment. Communicate effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and medical team members to advocate for injury prevention and overall health literacy. Ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation and organize educational opportunities such as in-services and seasonal physicals.
