Athletic Trainer School Based

Provide medical coverage on-field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events, assisting with local high schools, community sporting events, and regional camps. Carry out rehabilitation programs after evaluation and treatment plan establishment, collaborating closely with PTs and physicians. Assess and administer first aid, maintain accurate records of evaluations and treatments, and ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met. Oversee the Athletic Training room to maintain supplies, safety, and a clean environment while communicating effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and medical staff. Provide education on injury prevention, health literacy, nutrition, and mental wellbeing. Develop relationships with key stakeholders including the Athletic Director, coaching staff, and boosters.
