Athletic Trainer School Based

Conduct rehabilitation programs for injured athletes following evaluation and treatment plan establishment, collaborating closely with physicians and physical therapists. Administer first aid during practices and sporting events, manage the Athletic Training room to ensure supply levels and a safe environment, and maintain accurate records of all evaluations and treatments. Communicate effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and medical team members while advocating for injury prevention, nutrition, and mental health. Ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation and organize educational opportunities such as in-services and seasonal physicals. Work variable hours with unpredictability, including late nights, to match partner needs.
