Athletic Trainer School Based

Carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes following evaluation and treatment plan establishment while collaborating with physicians and physical therapists. Assess and administer first aid during practices and sporting events, maintaining accurate records of all evaluations, referrals, and treatments. Oversee the athletic training room to ensure supply levels, maximal coverage, and a clean, safe environment. Communicate effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and medical team members to advocate for injury prevention and overall health literacy. Ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation and organize educational opportunities such as in-services and seasonal physicals.
