Job Summary

Provide medical coverage and on-field support for injured athletes during practices and events, including administering first aid and managing emergency situations. Collaborate with physicians and physical therapists to oversee rehabilitation programs and ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation. Maintain accurate records of evaluations and treatments while managing the athletic training room to ensure supplies, cleanliness, and safety. Communicate effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and medical staff, and organize educational opportunities such as in-services and seasonal physicals. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders including the athletic director and coaching staff. This role requires variable hours, unpredictable schedules, and late nights to match the needs of the partner school.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Athletic Training Licensure for the states in which you work
  • Credentialed as an Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers

Desired Qualifications

  • Two years' experience working in school/community setting as an Athletic Trainer
