Job Summary
Provide quality, evidence-based athletic health to stakeholders across the sports medicine program by developing and maintaining comprehensive health care programs for patients, clients, and athletes. Support both clinical and outreach initiatives, focusing on injury/illness prevention, wellness protection, clinical assessment, immediate care, treatment, and rehabilitation under physician direction. Travel is required. This entry-level role requires a bachelor's degree in athletic training, successful completion of a competency-based orientation, and holds the CRT-Athletic Trainer certification and Michigan license upon hire, along with Basic Life Support within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree athletic training or related field
- Successful completion of competency-based orientation program
- No Experience Entry level experience with related and progressively more responsible experience in all aspects of athletic training
- CRT-Athletic Trainer, Certified - BOC Board of Certification and Accreditation
- LIC-Athletic Trainer License - STATE_MI
- AHA or ARC (BLS) Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
- Travel required
- Drug-free workplace
- Compliance with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
