Job Summary
Athletic Trainer-Onsite (PRN) at client site in Tracy, CA, responsible for delivering injury care, prevention, and RTW coordination within an occupational medicine program. Provides basic first aid, evaluates injuries, coordinates with clinicians, participates in workers’ compensation processes, supports ergonomic and injury-prevention initiatives, conducts functional testing and return-to-work planning, and prepares internal reports. Requires collaboration with Health and Safety leadership, HIPAA-compliant care, and the ability to work independently on flexible PRN shifts (M-F daytime and occasional Sundays).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in athletic training
- Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments
