Job Summary
Perform patient care duties including scheduling tests, obtaining vital signs, and assisting Providers during examinations and minor procedures. Responsibilities include providing home exercise protocols, updating patient information in Epic, dispensing durable medical equipment, and responding to patient inquiries. Must possess Wisconsin ATC Licensure and current BLS Certification. Strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge are essential, with a preference for candidates with orthopedic or sports medicine experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current state of Wisconsin ATC Licensure
- BLS Certification
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology
- Knowledge of EPIC or ability to be proficient within 4 weeks of hire
- Competency with relevant medications and injection procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Orthopedic or Sports Medicine Clinic Experience preferred
