Job Summary
Room patients, obtain health histories, and perform initial and secondary assessments in the Orthopedic Urgent Care Department. Document patient information and care in medical records, complete forms for patients, employers, or insurers, and assess post-operative wounds while providing standardized wound care and patient education instructions. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and physicians, answering orthopedic-related questions for clinical staff. Clean and stock exam rooms, and travel to outreach clinical locations or athletic events as assigned. This casual float position requires 2–12 hour weekend shifts (8AM–8PM) with flexibility to cover all Summit locations in Minnesota and additional shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 12 hour weekend shifts per month (8AM - 8PM)
- Must have flexibility to float to all Summit locations as needed (Eagan, Eden Prairie, Lakeville, Plymouth, Vadnais Heights, and Woodbury, MN)
- Must be able to float to all Summit locations as needed
