Job Summary
Athletic Trainer supporting orthopedic/sports medicine practice with patient evaluation, casting/bracing, and education. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, neurocognitive testing for concussion (SCAT/BESS), applying/removing casts and splints, vital signs, EMR documentation, coordinating tests and referrals, and serving as liaison between patients and the medical team while providing home exercise and bracing instructions in accordance with OhioHealth policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in athletic training
- ATC - Athletic Trainer Credential
- BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
- OTPT - Occupational and Physical Therapy License - Ohio OTPTAT Board (Athletic Trainers)
