Job Summary
Athletic Trainer role in OPA, a full-time clinical/outreach position serving athletes at local high schools, community events, and clinic. Primary duties include on-site injury evaluation, first aid/emergency care, prevention and rehabilitation programs, medical referrals, and instruction to athletes, parents, coaches, and medical personnel. Requires national ATC certification, CPR certification, and a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred. Time may include early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Strong emphasis on multi-tasking, injury prevention, wound care, documentation, equipment management, and collaboration with team physicians and other staff.
Required Qualifications
- National certification (ATC) through the Board of Certification, Inc.
- Current CPR Certification
- Bachelor's degree
