Job Summary
Athletic Trainer onsite at a client site in Marion, OH, working full-time in an occupational medicine program. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal injuries, coordinating Workers’ Compensation case management, returning employees to work, implementing injury-prevention and ergonomic assessments, performing pre-employment functional testing, documenting patient care, and communicating with client Health and Safety Leaders. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent; typically 1 year of related athletic trainer experience and knowledge of kinesiology/ergonomic assessments. The role operates Monday–Thursday 7AM–3PM in an onsite clinic setting, with duties spanning patient care, program development, data reporting, and collaboration with client staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent
- 1 year of relevant athletic trainer experience
- Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge of Athletic Trainer services in an onsite setting
