Athletic Trainer, Onsite

Job Summary

Provide first aid, perform musculoskeletal testing, and respond to onsite medical emergencies for client associates. Evaluate injuries, coordinate workers' compensation claims, and facilitate return-to-work job placement with HR. Manage pre-employment functional testing, administer drug and alcohol tests, and implement ergonomic job analyses and risk factor assessments. Create job rotation plans, design injury prevention programs, and monitor compliance with preventative activity schedules. Track MSD statistics, analyze rehab costs, and generate monthly reports on utilization and cost avoidance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of experience
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge of Athletic Trainer services consistent with an Onsite setting
  • Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, standards and techniques of athletic training
  • Awareness of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care
  • Use and maintenance of athletic training equipment
  • Practice and experience with common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work medical environment
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Adept at developing and maintaining patient care records and writing reports
  • Skilled in time management, planning and workload control
  • Identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Develop and maintain medical quality assurance and quality control standards
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, patients, medical staff and the general public
  • Good telephone manners and etiquette
  • Detail oriented
  • Monday 10:30AM-6:30PM
  • Tuesday 6PM-2AM
  • Thursday 8AM-4PM
  • Friday 6AM-2PM
