Job Summary

Provide basic first aid treatment for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal injuries, administer drug and alcohol testing, and respond to onsite medical emergencies per Physician Standing Orders. Identify, evaluate, and refer injured associates to clinicians while managing Workers' Compensation cases through claim capture and follow-up. Collaborate with HR on return-to-work job placement, track MSD statistics, and create job rotation plans. Implement treatment plans incorporating therapeutic exercise and modalities, coordinate ergonomic training, and perform comprehensive job analyses. Promote personal health and wellbeing, create pre-shift preventative activity programs, and provide monthly reports on rehab utilization and cost savings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of experience
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge of Athletic Trainer services consistent with an Onsite setting
  • Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, standards and techniques of athletic training
  • Awareness of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care
  • Use and maintenance of athletic training equipment
  • Practice and experience with common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work medical environment
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Adept at developing and maintaining patient care records and writing reports
  • Skilled in time management, planning and workload control
  • Identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Develop and maintain medical quality assurance and quality control standards
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, patients, medical staff and the general public
  • Good telephone manners and etiquette
  • Detail oriented
  • Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm
  • Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am
