Job Summary
Athletic Trainer position at Roper St. Francis Healthcare in Mt Pleasant, SC, focusing on clinical support for injury assessment, bracing, rehabilitation, and return-to-play/functional training. Responsible for patient education, plans of care, coordination with athletic trainers and physical therapists, documentation, and contributing to injury prevention programs and cash-based rehab options. Requires NATA BOC certification and a current state licensure, with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training (master’s preferred). Travel is limited to on-site duties with potential light travel as needed; EPIC/EMR experience and strong communication skills are essential to coordinates care across providers and patients across age ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Required Qualifications
- NATA BOC Certification
- Current Athletic Trainer license in the state of practice
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training (required)
- EPIC (preferred) or EMR experience (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in equivalent setting (preferred)
- Master’s degree in Athletic Training (preferred)
- BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for BSMH, required at hire for RSFH)
