Job Summary
Assist with supervision and coordination of the University's overall sports medicine program for Volleyball and Softball, focusing on injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries. Provide short-term and long-term rehabilitation for athletes, educate and counsel student-athletes, and manage athletics-related health care administration under the supervision of the Associate AD of Sports Medicine. Supervise intern athletic trainers, maintain accurate medical records, and oversee athletic training room operations and team travel. This full-time, 12-month position supports Louisiana Tech University's commitment to fostering a healthier community and developing safe environments for student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
- NATABOC Certification
- current CPR/AED certification
- Licensed or eligible for licensure within the state of Louisiana
- 1 year of directly related professional experience
