Job Summary

Provide medical coverage on field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events, including administering first aid and making physician referrals. Carry out rehabilitation programs after evaluation and treatment plan establishment, collaborating closely with PT and physicians. Oversee the Athletic Training room to ensure supply levels are maintained and the environment remains clean, safe, and professional. Maintain accurate records of evaluations, referrals, and treatments while communicating effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and other sports medicine team members. Ensure proper return to play criteria are met before allowing athlete participation. Develop relationships with key stakeholders including the Athletic Director and coaching staff, and organize educational opportunities such as in-services and seasonal physicals.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Athletic Training Licensure for the states in which you work
  • Credentialed as an Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers

Desired Qualifications

  • Two years' experience working in school/community setting as an Athletic Trainer
