Job Summary
Carry out rehabilitation programs after athlete evaluation, administer first aid during practices and events, and oversee the Athletic Training room to ensure supplies and safety. Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, coaches, and parents to communicate effectively and advocate for injury prevention and health literacy. Maintain accurate records of evaluations and treatments, ensuring proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation. Develop relationships with key stakeholders including the athletic director and coaching staff while organizing in-services and seasonal physicals.
Required Qualifications
- Current Athletic Training Licensure for the states in which you work.
- Credentialed as an Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Two years' experience working in school/community setting as an Athletic Trainer
