Athletic Trainer

Carry out rehabilitation programs for athletes following evaluation and treatment plan establishment, collaborating closely with physical therapists and physicians. Assess and administer first aid to injured athletes during practices and sporting events, making appropriate physician referrals when needed. Oversee the operation of the Athletic Training room to ensure adequate supplies, maximal coverage, and a clean, safe, and professional environment. Maintain accurate records of evaluations, referrals, and treatments while providing education on injury prevention, nutrition, and mental health. Develop relationships with coaches, school administration, parents, and medical team members to ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and organize in-services, lectures, and seasonal physicals as appropriate.
