Athletic Trainer

Provide medical coverage on-field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events, including administering first aid and making appropriate physician referrals. Carry out rehabilitation programs after evaluation and treatment plan establishment, collaborating closely with PTs and physicians. Oversee the Athletic Training room to ensure supplies are maintained and the environment remains clean, safe, and professional. Communicate effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and sports medicine team members to develop strong stakeholder relationships. Maintain accurate records of evaluations, referrals, and treatments while educating athletes on injury prevention, nutrition, and mental health. Ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before allowing athlete participation. Work variable hours with unpredictability, adjusting to partner needs and late nights.
