Athletic Trainer

Provide medical coverage on field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events, assisting with local high schools, community sporting events, and regional camps. Carry out rehabilitation programs after athlete evaluation, assess and administer first aid, and ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met. Oversee the Athletic Training room to maintain supplies, cleanliness, and safety while maintaining accurate records of all evaluations and treatments. Communicate effectively with coaches, administration, parents, physicians, and therapists, and develop relationships with key stakeholders including the athletic director and coaching staff. Provide education on injury prevention, health literacy, nutrition, and mental wellbeing, organizing in-services and seasonal physicals as appropriate.
