Athletic Trainer

Provide medical coverage on-field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events, administering first aid and making appropriate physician referrals. Carry out rehabilitation programs after evaluation and treatment plan establishment, collaborating closely with the medical team including PT and physicians. Oversee the operation of the Athletic Training room to ensure supply levels, maximal coverage, and a clean, safe, professional environment. Maintain accurate records of evaluations, referrals, and treatments while communicating effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and sports medicine team members. Ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation and advocate for injury prevention, health literacy, nutrition, and mental health. Develop relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, athletic directors, and coaching staff.
