Athletic Trainer

Carry out rehabilitation programs after athlete evaluation, administer first aid during practices and events, and ensure the Athletic Training room remains clean, safe, and fully stocked. Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, coaches, and school administration to manage injured athletes, maintain accurate records of treatments, and advocate for injury prevention and health literacy. Organize educational opportunities including in-services, lectures, and seasonal physicals while developing relationships with key stakeholders such as the Athletic Director and parents. Ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before allowing athlete participation. Variable working hours with unpredictable schedules and late nights required to match partner needs.
