Athletic Trainer

Carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes following evaluation and treatment plan establishment, collaborating closely with PTs and physicians. Assess and administer first aid during practices and sporting events, making appropriate physician referrals when needed. Oversee the Athletic Training room to ensure adequate supplies, maximal coverage, and a clean, safe, professional environment. Maintain accurate records of all evaluations, referrals, and treatments while communicating effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and medical team members. Provide education on injury prevention, health literacy, nutrition, and mental health wellbeing. Ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation and organize in-services, lectures, and seasonal physicals. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders including the Athletic Director, coaching staff, and boosters.
