Job Summary
Carry out rehabilitation programs following athlete evaluations and administer first aid during practices and sporting events, making physician referrals as needed. Oversee the Athletic Training room to ensure supplies are maintained, coverage is provided, and the environment remains clean, safe, and professional. Maintain accurate records of evaluations, referrals, and treatments while communicating effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and medical team members. Ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation and advocate for injury prevention, nutrition, and mental health. Develop relationships with key stakeholders including the athletic director, coaching staff, and boosters. Organize in-services, lectures, and seasonal physicals as appropriate. Requires current Athletic Training licensure, BOC certification, and BLS. Variable working hours with unpredictability and late nights. Located in Murray, Utah.
Required Qualifications
- Current Athletic Training Licensure for the states in which you work.
- Credentialed as an Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Two years' experience working in school/community setting as an Athletic Trainer
