Athletic Trainer

Provide medical coverage on field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events, assisting with local high school and community sporting activities. Carry out rehabilitation programs after evaluation and treatment plan establishment, while assessing and administering first aid and making appropriate physician referrals. Oversee the Athletic Training room to ensure supply levels, maximal coverage, and a clean, safe environment. Communicate effectively with coaches, administration, parents, and medical team members, and maintain accurate records of evaluations and treatments. Ensure proper return-to-play criteria are met before athlete participation and advocate for injury prevention and health literacy. Develop relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, athletic directors, and coaching staff.
