Job Summary
Under direction of the Manager, Employee Health and Ergonomics, perform a wide variety of duties within and in support of the Employee & Occupational Health Departments. Provide Athletic Training outreach services at contracted high schools and offer support in the Occupational Health Clinic. Utilize appropriate equipment including laptops, digital cameras, and Microsoft Office applications to document and manage patient care. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, BOC certification, and Massachusetts licensure, with 3 years of related experience preferred. Candidates must hold current CPR certification and be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19. The position involves a 30-hour schedule with day or evening shifts, including weekends, and requires driving on average three or more times per week. Located at the Athletic Training Center in Dartmouth, MA, this opportunity is part of Southcoast Health's commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training or a related field
- experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- New graduates to 3 years of related work experience
- BOC certification
- Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- CPR Certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Driving on average 3 or more times per week
