Job Summary
Certified Athletic Trainer providing on-site medical coverage for Hillsboro High School events, team practices, and competitions, with triage, clinical evaluation and diagnosis within scope of practice, immediate injury care, follow-up treatment, prevention education, and rehabilitative services. The role supports coverage for multiple contracted schools and some clinic work, with opportunities across a broad outreach program including many area schools. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine or a related field
- Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA-BOC)
- Licensed Athletic Trainer - Wisconsin (LAT)
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
