Job Summary
Full-time Certified Athletic Trainer/DME Coordinator based at the outpatient clinic in Munster, IN. Responsibilities include measuring and fitting off-the-shelf orthopedic bracing and devices, instructing patients on use, ordering and maintaining inventory of DME, pre-certification for certain orthopedic products, recommending braces to patients, communicating with physicians and vendors, maintaining licensure and ethics compliance, and supporting special projects as needed. Eligible for benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and educational incentives. Salary range $50,000–$65,000 annually; sign-on $1,000 bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Athletic Trainer or other health-related field
- Certified Athletic Trainer
- Orthotic Fitter Certification preferred but not required
