Job Summary
Athletic Trainer (Clinic) under a Sports Medicine Physician evaluating and treating musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. Responsibilities include developing rehabilitation programs, supervising prescribed exercises, monitoring patient response, educating patients on rehabilitation, coordinating care with other providers, maintaining documentation, operating and maintaining equipment, and participating in marketing/community educational programs. Duties also cover casting, splinting, wound care, concussion treatments, assisting with prior authorizations, and supporting outreach as needed; requires state licensure, national certification, and BLS. Location: Provo, UT; Schedule: 40 hours/week; hourly range $26.47–$40.87.
Required Qualifications
- Current license as an Athletic Trainer in state of practice
- National athletic trainer certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Experience with data bases, word processing, and internet; related working experience preferred
