Athletic Trainer Clinic Based

Assess patients to determine therapy modifications and develop rehabilitation programs addressing short and long-term goals. Demonstrate prescribed therapeutic exercises, monitor treatment response, and educate patients on injuries, diagnosis, and prognosis. Perform clinical tasks including casting, splinting, wound care, vitals, and medication preparation while assisting with concussion treatments. Coordinate care with providers, file documentation, and obtain prior authorizations. Clean and maintain equipment, actively engage in community education, and respond to patient messages. Work 40 weekly hours at the Sunset Multi-Specialty Clinic in Henderson, Nevada, under the direction of a Sports Medicine Physician.
