Job Summary
Manage daily practice and game coverage including injury management, program administration, and record keeping. Provide outreach services to club, city recreation, or collegiate teams as needed. Operate within the sports medicine team following established policies under the direction of the medical director. This role supports the Mullins High School athletic program, which fields 15 teams across 11 sports for approximately 550 students. The position includes an 80-hour bi-weekly schedule and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. McLeod Sports Medicine employs a team of 25 athletic trainers in a progressive outpatient rehabilitation facility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a B.S. or B.A. degree
- Certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for athletic trainers
- Eligibility for licensure in the state of South Carolina
- CPR and AED certification
