Job Summary
Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries according to professional standards. Coordinate patient care with healthcare professionals and educate patients and families on treatment plans and injury prevention. Independently make decisions that positively impact patient health and quality of life while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with billing procedures. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, educational programs, and community outreach events, including special events and injury prevention education outside the clinic. Adapt to flexible scheduling needs, including varying shifts and occasional event support, while demonstrating professionalism and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Current certification as an Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Board of Certification (BOC)
- Current Athletic Trainer license in the State of Alabama
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider Certification
- Valid Alabama driver's license
