Job Summary
Certified Athletic Trainer needed for part-time, 1099 contractor role in Brenham, TX. Responsibilities include body mechanics coaching, risk assessment and implementation of injury-prevention strategies, hands-on deep tissue therapy, ergonomic assessments, maintaining detailed records in DORNs systems, gathering employee feedback via surveys, and weekly/monthly reporting to client site teams and DORN management. Education credentials at the certificate through master’s level are acceptable; 2-4 years of injury-prevention or therapy experience preferred, with licensure options including AT, PT, OT, OTA, PTA, or LMT. Strong communication, autonomy, and collaboration with clients and colleagues are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2-4 years of experience in injury prevention or in your specialty field, preferably in an industrial setting.
- State Licensure: Athletic Trainer (AT), Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and detailed reporting.
