Athletic Trainer - 32hrs/Week

This position provides medical and rehabilitative care to patients, performing initial evaluations, coordinating treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress using therapeutic exercises, modalities, and skills. May work with high school students at training facilities or on the field, and will follow applicable school policies. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, conferring with attending physicians to determine treatment plans, ensuring therapies are carried out in a timely manner, maintaining medical records, and providing health education and health maintenance services; may include triage and referral as needed and performing non-clinical support tasks to assist the department. If assigned to work with high school students, duties may include developing coverage plans, budgeting for supplies, and ensuring concussion training compliance in accordance with state requirements.
