Job Summary
Create and implement weekly program calendars for summer while ensuring facilities, equipment, and supplies remain maintained. Prepare culturally and developmentally appropriate activities, transport small groups of children safely on field trips, and maintain high safety standards in all rooms. Work assigned shifts with flexibility, communicating daily with staff, volunteers, and the Program Director to ensure smooth program operations. Support external contacts with community groups, schools, and parents as instructed. Variable part-time hours under 20 weeks per week.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in high school
- Able to communicate effectively with children and other adults
- Understanding of youth development principles
- Ability to motivate youth in a positive way
- Ability to learn and support new ideas for the good of the Club
- Good organization and attention to detail
- Professional presence
- Strong customer relations skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Minimum 1 year of experience with school age children
- Able to communicate effectively with children and other adults
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

- All offers are contingent upon passing a thorough background check including a National Criminal History Background check
Desired Qualifications
- Youth development experience preferred
- Knowledge and/or experience working with a non-profit youth development agency
- Boys & Girls Club experience preferred
