Job Summary
Lead game day operations for athletic events and venues, ensuring successful execution from planning through post-event breakdown for assigned sports. Develop detailed event management plans, timelines, and operational procedures while coordinating staffing and logistics with internal and external partners. Conduct daily facility walk-throughs for assigned sports, monitor operational concerns, and supervise the ARCC as needed during special events. Serve as the primary point of contact for visiting teams and game officials, managing facility access, practice schedules, and locker room assignments. Collaborate with conference partners, NCAA representatives, and vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facility operations. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by athletic and recreation events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sport Management, Business Administration, Event Management, Recreation, or a related field
- One (1) year of experience in athletics operations, event management, facility operations, or a related field
- Demonstrated organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as required by athletic & recreation events and department needs
- Knowledge of and compliance with institutional, conference and NCAA rules, both those general in nature and those which apply specifically to their job responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
