Job Summary
Oversee student sport managers and coordinate the maintenance, distribution, and repair of athletic uniforms and equipment. Monitor site and equipment set-up for events, ensuring proper fitting for athletes and trainers. Manage inventory records, obtain quotes, and process requisitions for new gear and replacements. Transport equipment to away games and camps, while attending home sporting events. Ensure all gymnasium and field lighting functions correctly and report issues promptly. Collaborate with coaches to identify team needs and schedule fitting times.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- one year of athletic equipment, coaching, or recreation experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Athletic A.E.M.A certification within 2 years of employment
- Valid Department of Public Safety (DPS) Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC)
- Knowledge of applicable athletic programs
- Knowledge of basic inventory principles and practices
- Knowledge of equipment requirements for specific sporting activities
- Knowledge of decision-making principles
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices
- Knowledge of mathematical principles
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Skill in prioritizing work
- Skill in operating applicable tools and equipment of the trade
- Skill in performing mathematical calculations
- Skill in troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Skill in maintain confidentiality
- Skill in prepare a variety of logs, paperwork and reports

Desired Qualifications
