Job Summary
Athletics department graduate assistant responsibilities include assisting in daily operations, compliance, facility management, sports information (stats, news releases, features for the Cougars Website), event coordination and hosting, social media promotion, support to coaches, and administrative processes, with a 75% graduate tuition scholarship provided and a requirement to enroll in graduate classes; candidate must be enrolled in graduate program and maintain minimum GPA, and travel/background checks may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required and be accepted into the Cleary University graduate program
- Enrolled in at least one graduate class per session (three credits) and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Graduate tuition scholarship of 75% provided upon meeting requirements
- Experience as a student-athlete or within a collegiate athletic department
- Ability to frequently work weekends and nights
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, communication, and computer literacy skills
- Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule
- Team-oriented and independently capable
- Positive attitude, open-minded and adaptable
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
- Able to pass a background check
