Job Summary
Gather and disseminate sports information and statistics for 22 NCAA Division II athletic programs while maintaining regular contact with coaches. Develop favorable media attention and image for teams and coaches using various communications media, including managing the athletics website, video streaming, editing, and social media. Assist with game day operations, audio/visual production, and public address systems. This year-round role at Post University's Drubner Athletic Center requires up to 20 hours per week, including nights and weekends. Proficiency in NCAA rules, statistics software, and MS Office is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient and a working knowledge of and a willingness to comply with NCAA and Conference rules
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Experience with website content management system software and various statistics software
- Time management skills
- Knowledge of trends in sports communications and technology
- Strong knowledge of the rules of many different sports
- Strong computer, graphic design, video editing, social media and internet skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Positive energy & motivation to a Division II competitive athletic department
