Job Summary
Head Volleyball Athletic Coach for Twin Lakes Middle School (26-27 school year) responsible for administering all aspects of the volleyball program within the District and school athletic policy, coordinating practice and game responsibilities, enforcing rules for conditioning and safety, ensuring compliance with FHSAA and Title IX, coordinating examinations and documentation, supervising athletes and facilities, fundraising, and supporting the overall educational program by providing leadership, organization, and mentorship to student-athletes. The role requires collaboration with the athletic director, athletic trainer, and medical staff, overseeing eligibility, academics, injuries, and tryouts, and delivering effective coaching, communication, and motivational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS courses)
- AED training
- Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)
