Job Summary
Head Girls Swimming Athletic Coach responsible for administering all aspects of the sport within the district and school athletic department, enforcing conditioning rules, coordinating health forms and compliance with FHSAA/NFHS requirements, attending coaching clinics, organizing practices and games, supervising athletes, monitoring weekly academic progress, reporting injuries, and supporting program improvement while maintaining professional conduct and serving as a role model for student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certifications & Licenses: Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and CPR, Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS courses), AED training, Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)

- Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS)
- AED training
- Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)
- Strong knowledge of coaching for swimming
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage tryouts, practices, and athletic contests
- Ability to monitor student-athlete academic progress
- Ability to model professional behavior for student-athletes
