Job Summary
Athletic Coach overseeing head girls soccer at Twin Lakes Middle for the 26-27 school year. Responsibilities include enforcing conditioning rules, ensuring health forms are on file, attending FHSAA rule clinics, coordinating with the athletic director on examinations and equipment, organizing fundraising activities, supervising students, enforcing Title IX/FHSAA/DCPS policies, monitoring weekly academic progress, organizing practice and game duties with clear roles, reporting injuries to the athletic trainer or Jacksonville Sports Medicine Program, securing physician/parent approvals for Return to Play, supporting program improvements, and performing other duties as assigned. Key KSAs include strong leadership, communication, time management, organization, problem solving, and the ability to motivate student-athletes; required knowledge of the sport and related strategies, plus proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience preferred as an athletic coach or in the coaching arena
- Certifications & Licenses: Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS courses), AED training, Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)
