Job Summary
Athletic Coach - Head Boys Track for Twin Lakes Middle (26-27 school year). Administers all aspects of the track program in accordance with DCPS and district athletic policies, enforces conditioning and safety rules, coordinates with the athletic director, conducts fundraisers, supervises athletes and facilities, monitors academic progress, and ensures compliance with Title IX and NFHS rules. Responsibilities include organizing practices and games with clearly defined duties, reporting injuries to the athletic trainer and appropriate forms, and promoting professional development and leadership among student-athletes. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and coaching certifications (First Aid, CPR, NFHS concussion and related courses, AED training) plus Florida DOE Athletic Coaching credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience preferred as an athletic coach or in the coaching arena
- Certifications & Licenses: Completion of required athletic coaching courses to include First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Concussion in Sports (NFHS courses), AED training, Florida Department of Education Certificate (Athletic Coaching)
